To attract, develop and retain a competent and motivated public service workforce that delivers timely, high quality and appropriate services to the people at the least cost to the nation.

MANDATE

To develop Human Resource Policies, systems and structures that provide for an effective and harmonized public service; supported by a well developed and motivated human resource that will deliver timely and cost effective public services affordable by the Government of Uganda and responsive to the needs of the people, especially the poor.
