    The Human Capital System introduced seems not to be working well. In Education Service Commission new pensioners have failed to access their benefits due to the introduction of the system. The problem has taken so long to be corrected and you should take the blame.

  • The Minister of Public Service Hon. Wilson Muruli Mukasa has inaugurated the Interim Board of Trustees of the Public Service Pension Fund, marking another key milestone in the operationalisation of the Fund. During the ceremony, members of the Interim Board were sworn in before a Magistrate and took the Oath of Office, Oath of Secrecy and Oath of Allegiance. The ceremony, held at the Ministry of Public Service Main Boardroom, formally ushered in the Board to provide strategic oversight and guidance as preparations for the Fund’s implementation continue.

  • The Department of Management Services of the Ministry of Public Service held a validation meeting with senior technical officers from various service delivery areas under the Ministry of Internal Affairs to review and validate the compendium of documented processes for the Ministry. The meeting was organised to obtain feedback, input and concurrence on the documented processes, with a view to ensuring accuracy, completeness and alignment with the Ministry’s mandate.   • Induction of Newly Appointed Staff of Mubende Regional Referral Hospital which commenced on 13th has ended today 17th April, 2026 at Mubende Regional Referral Hospital.

  • The rollout exercise of the E-inspection tool, including the delivery of computers and staff training sessions, is taking place at various DLGs, Cities and MCs.

  • Induction training of newly recruited staff of Mukono Municipality. His Worship the Mayor of Mukono MC, Mr. Mukasa Nkoyoyo led the opening ceremony.

  • Staff of Namisindwa DLG induction by the CSCU, held from 07th to 10th April 2026 at Namisindwa Technical School. Mr. Bwayo James Kitumbes, Deputy Vice Chair Person Namisindwa DLG gave opening remarks. Ms. Savia Mugwanya, C/CSCU- MOPS delivered opening and closing remarks.   • The CSCU has organised the 5th Research Management committee meeting at NRCA. The team was to, present and discuss on various matters including, Report and action plan of the RMC Retreat, finalised benchmarking report, Terms of Reference and Standard Operating Procedures, Draft Memoranda of Understanding for the benchmarked Institutions of ESAMI, SCNU, NARO and MAK and finally the Draftconcept Note for the development of the Socio-Economic Research Agenda. The PS/MOPS chaired the session.

  • The Minister for Public Service, Hon. Muruli Mukasa on 1st April, 2026, launched the declaration of income, assets and liabilities for Public Officers, and the User Guide to the Leadership Code Act, Cap. 33. ‎‎The User Guide aims to make the Leadership Code Act more user friendly in terms of giving clarity on the obligations of both Leaders and public.‎‎ The one-month declaration exercise for Public Officers which will end on 30th April, 2026, is a deliberate step towards reinforcing integrity, a reminder that public officers ought to be accountable because they hold offices on behalf of the public. ‎‎During the launch, the Minister reminded the Public Officers that declaration is a legal requirement and not an administrative burden like it had been misconstrued.
