CONSULTATIVE WORKSHOP TO MAP AND ANALYZE ELECTRONIC DOCUMENT/CONTENT MANAGEMENT PROCESS ENDED AT JINJA CIVIL SERVICE COLLEGE

by Mundua Patrick / 24 June 2019 / Published in Featured, General, News

The Under Secretary Ministry of Public Service Dan Mugulusi who represented the Permanent Secretary called upon participants to take records as essential and important . Institutions are likely to collapse if the management of records is not done professionally. Mugulusi called for the team to escalate this knowledge to other staff. He warned institutions that usually allocate records management to Office attendants to stop and desist from such practice because they are not taking records seriously.

With this era of social media there is need to take records management as very crucial in management of affairs of any institution. He advised participants to position themselves in order to be relevant to their institutions.
