MINISTRY CONDUCTS PENSION CLINICS COUNTRYWIDE- SCENARIOS FROM EASTERN UGANDA

by Mundua Patrick / 19 December 2019 / Published in Featured, General, News

Pensioners across this entire region have hailed the ministry for this timely interaction where challenges and feedback on pension decentralization has been realized. Pensioners have called for a regular interaction because it creates a forum of sharing challenges and iron out information gaps within different stakeholders.

Among other recommendations mad e was to review the Pension Act to cater for regular reviews especially the little pension that is pegged on the Salary while being calculated. This has grossly affected the value for money for pensioners because salary increments take long to be realized in the public sector.
