The Political leadership of the Ministry of Public Service (MoPS), led by the Minister, Hon. Wilson Muruli Mukasa, conducted a field visit to the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF). During the visit, the Minister met with his counterpart, Hon. Frank Tumwebaze, and the Permanent Secretary, MAAIF, to gain first-hand insight into the progress of implementing the approved institutional structures under the Rationalisation of Government Agencies and Public Expenditure (RAPEX). The visit also included an assessment of service delivery operations at the Coffee Analytical Laboratory located at the Lugogo UMA Show Grounds.
The team from the Ministry of Public Service, the UPDF Engineering Brigade, the Ministry of Works and Transport, and Posta Uganda convened a second site meeting on the ongoing renovation and remodelling of the Posta Uganda Main Building, which will host the Kampala Regional Service Uganda Centre. The engagement was intended to assess progress and discuss the final structural designs and drawings for the centre.
