by Mundua Patrick / 03 December 2020 / Published in Featured, General, News

Leaders in the Local Governments have hailed the Ministry Team of Performance Management department  of taking the initiative ensure LG s Committees function normally with the technical knowledge and legal aspects of addressing grievances of civil servants.

Among the districts visited by the Team, Chief administrative Officers were generally appreciative of this initiative and direction the Ministry has taken to sensitize and orient committee members on the operations of the Rewards and Sanctions.

Chief Administrative Officer, John Katorotoma said, although Council had approved their client charter and efforts made the public to know the services that are non-cash and cash. There is little efforts towards creating a proper feedback mechanism between the District and Communities.

Katorotoma emphasised the need to train and orient new Rewards and Sanctions Committees to save them from the court costs after losing several civil servants cases.
