The Government Empowerment Network (GEN) Cohort 1 graduated yesterday. The Graduation Ceremony took place at Skys Hotel, Naguru. The Ceremony was graced by the Deputy Head of Public Service Ms. Jane Kyarisiima Mwesiga with the Permanent Secretaries from the different Ministries.This fellowship was an opportunity for the Public Officers to build a shared purpose for Championing Public Sector Transformation within their institutions, learn problem solving frameworks , and discuss the challenges they want to be addressed with GEN. The Department of Public Service Inspection (PSI) in the Ministry of Public Service held an engagement with consultants on the roll-out and implementation of a simplified online system designed to track the level of adoption and compliance with Service Delivery Standards (SDS) across 30 Local Governments. The meeting, chaired by the Commissioner PSI, Mr. Fred Ojok Ongom, brought together members of the Inter-Ministerial SDS Task Force from MoFPED, MoLG, MoES, MoLHUD, MAAIF, MoH, MoWE, MoWT and other MDAs, who participated both physically and virtually.

Participants discussed sector-specific requirements and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening service delivery across Government.

The commissioner M&E, Mr. Joses Tejeza, chairing a validation meeting for the end term evaluation Report of MOPS strategic plan FY 2020/21-2024/25. This meeting reviewed the draft evaluation findings and provided input prior to the finalization of the report to ensure accuracy, relevance and completeness of the evaluation report.
