Today, the Ministry of Public Service receives ICT equipment under the SHDR project from Enabel. These equipment include to Monitors, Mouses, Printer, HDMI cables, Laptops, Tablets, Projectors among others. Visit to the Independent Public Service Commission of Kenya to learn how they collaborate with the state department of public service in the implementation of Human Resources Planning

The Presentation of guidelines by different sub-committees under Rationalization of Government Agencies and Public Expenditure (RAPEX) to the Inter-Ministerial technical committee was held on 12th and 13th May, 2022 at National Records Centre and Archives.

The Department of Public Service Inspection and Quality Assurance had an engagement with Apex global Associates an external consultancy firm .

The consultancy firm was charged with developing a community scorecard for the Uganda Public Service .

The Ministry of Public Service has held a consultative meeting with Uganda Police Force, Ministry of Works and Transport and Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development to finalise the Funeral and Fleet Management Policy.

The Department of Management Services held a meeting with Ministry of Local Government to discuss and finalise the validation of City structures and Job descriptions at National Records Centre and Archives.

Top Management of the Ministry of Public Service was held on 10th May, 2022 chaired by the Honorable Minister of Public Service Honorable Muruli Wilson Mukasa at the Ministry Boardroom.

The Minister of Public Service Hon. Muruli Wilson Mukasa held a meeting with University staff led by Hon. Kamunyu the leader of the forum for University academic staff representing workers in Parlaiment at National Records Centre & Archives (NRCA) ON 27th April, 2022.

It was a follow up meeting on some of the issues raised by university staff during the 21st April, 2022 meeting where salary enhancement was the major issue raised. The meeting was called to solely discuss salary enhancement.

The Minister of Public Service Hon. Muruli Mukasa officiated the opening of the regional stakeholder’s meeting at Wash and Wills hotel Mbale City.

The meeting attracted different stakeholders including Resident District Commissioners (RDC’s), Resident City Commissioners (RCC’S), District Chairperson’s, Mayors of cities, Chief Administrative Officers (CAO), Town clerks of cities and municipalities among others.
