The Ministry of Public Service convened an inter-ministerial meeting to discuss and address issues raised by the Uganda Technical and Vocational Trainers’ Union (UTVTU). It brought together Permanent Secretaries and representatives from key ministries, including the Ministries of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, Education and Sports, Local Government, Gender, Labour and Social Development, and Justice and Constitutional Affairs. The inter-ministerial engagement intended to provide a coordinated platform for government to examine the concerns raised by technical and vocational trainers, identify appropriate interventions, and strengthen collaboration among the responsible institutions.
