    I want to thank official s from ps for the training
    But we are having a problem with user name and default password (Abc@@@@123)
    We need help to access the system
    Because on the website things do not work
    And on the mobile app peoples Hr
    When you put url https://uat.hcm.go.ug/hr
    And you log in with
    Username: 00 (comp no)
    It says contact system administrator something wrong please help.

  • Human Resource Management Policy and Procedures (C/HRMP&P), Mr. Patrick Muhereza, as he prepares for retirement. In recognition of his dedicated service and contribution to the Public Service, the SMT organised a cake-cutting ceremony in his honour.

  • The department of Public Service Inspection, held a one-day workshop at NRCA, to refine and validate the changes made on the digital Inspection tool, which is being rolled out this quarter, going forward. The tool will replace the manual tools that were in use and make the process of inspection faster and more efficient. Present at the meeting were representatives from MOLG, MEACA, MOLHUD, MOWT, MIA MEMD, MOES, HSC and PSC.

  • The Minister of State for Public Service, Hon. Grace Mary Mugasa officially opened the Annual Public Sector Managers Conference, 18th to 20th February 2026 at Las Vegas Hotel Mbarara. This conference brought together all the HR practitioners under the theme” Transforming Human Resource Management Practices for Institutional Success and Improved Service Delivery: Ethics, Systems and Talent Management.

  • A team from New Wave Technologies in partnership with the Ministry of Public Service successfully delivered and officially handed over desktop computers to Kiryandongo and Arua District Local Governments (DLGs). The equipment will support efforts to track and monitor the level of adoption and compliance with Service Delivery Standards, strengthening accountability and improving public service performance

  • The Under Secretary, Ministry of Public Service, Mr Rogers Kaija, who represented the PS/MOPS, giving the opening remarks at Public Sector Transformation Programme Semi-Annual Performance Review meeting, to review and access the progress in the implementation of the National Development Plan iv. The meeting was held at NRCA.

  • The Minister of State for Public Service, Hon. Grace Mary Mugasa, chaired a top management meeting in which they discussed on MOPS Q2 report for FY 2025/2026.

  • Dr.Okoror Stephen, Commissioner HRPD, chairing a sub committee responsible for communication and Publicity of the HRMNet cofference which is schudeled to take place from 18th to 20th February 2026 at Las Vegas Hotel Mbarara. This conference will run under the theme” Transforming Human Resource Management Practices for Institutional Success and Improved Service Delivery: Ethics,Systems and Talent Management. This committee is responsible for the publicity of this conference.

  • The PS/MOPS, Catherine Bitarakwate Musingwiire, chairing a Task force meeting on Puplic Service Task Force, to review the guidelines for selection and Recruitment of the Public Service Pension Fund and the board charter.

  • The Department of Records and Information Management, held a departmental Team building event under the theme “ Archives Story” in which team members were encouraged to share their favorite Archival stories and highlight the importance of Records and Archives.

  • The Ministry of Public Service, which is spearheading the establishment of Service Uganda Centres across the country, this week witnessed the handover of the Posta Office Main Building to the representative of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Defence and Veteran Affairs (UPDF Engineering Brigade). This marks the commencement of renovation, remodeling and refurbishment works on the building, which will host the Kampala Regional Service Uganda Centre (KRSUC). During the handover, Mr. Sulaiman Kirunda, Chairperson of the Board of Posta Uganda, together with Mr. Irumba Rogers Kaija, Undersecretary Ministry of Public Service representing the Permanent Secretary, handed over the facility to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Defence and Veteran Affairs (UPDF Engineering Brigade). In attendance were representatives from the Ministry of Public Service, MoDVA–Engineering Brigade, Ministry of Works and Transport (MoWT), Ministry of ICT & National Guidance (MoICT&NG), NITA-U, KCCA, and Posta Uganda. The works are expected to take six (6) months.
