The Ministry of Public Service, through the Human Capital Management (HCM) System, has commenced a comprehensive training programme for Human Resource Officers and Principal Human Resource Officers across Ministries, Departments, Agencies, and Local Governments.
The training is being conducted at two venues: the Ministry of Public Service Training Laboratory and the Ministry of Finance Training Centre at Crested Towers.
The programme began on 10th June and runs through 4th July 2025, with participants attending in three separate cohorts:
The first group of 40 participants trained at the Ministry of Public Service from 10th to 20th June.
The second group, comprising 80 participants, is currently undergoing training at the Ministry of Finance Training Centre from 16th to 27th June.
The final group will train at the Ministry of Public Service Laboratory from 23rd June to 4th July 2025.
This training aims to enhance understanding and application of the HCM modules. It is a key step in strengthening the management and structure of government, improving human resource planning, monitoring wage and remuneration, and enabling effective performance management—all of which contribute to improved service delivery and the overall well-being of citizens.
