Pension Census

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Public Service informs Veterans, Teaching and Traditional Service Pensioners all over Uganda that there is an ongoing census and verification exercise at all district headquarters in Uganda between 20th February and 30th March 2017. Pensioners and beneficiaries of estates of the deceased must appear in person for the census and capture of finger prints and pictures at the District Headquarters on the scheduled dates.

National identity card is a must for the verification exercise. Those without national identify cards must acquire them before they can be validated. Unvalidated pensioners and claimants (incase of death) will be deleted from the pensions payroll effective april 2017.  The verification/ census schedule is attached hereto and shall also be published in the newspapers, district notice boards and local fm (radio) stations across the country.
