The Ministry of Public Service (MoPS) through the Department of the Civil Service College Uganda (CSCU), convened a meeting, in its role as the coordinating Directorate for socio-economic research in the Public Service, as stipulated under the National Development Plan IV (NDP IV) and the National Research Framework. The meeting discussed the development of the National Socio-Economic Research Agenda (NSERA), which will guide the conduct of socio-economic research across the Public Service to inform evidence-based public policy formulation. The meeting further agreed on the roadmap for the development of the NSERA, as well as the formulation of Institutional Research Agendas.
