The Department of Public Service Inspection (PSI), Ministry of Public Service, convened the quarterly meeting of Inspectors to review key inspection issues and agree on priorities for the next phase of implementation.

Among the key issues discussed was the planned transition to fully digital inspection beginning in the next Financial Year 2026/2027. The Department also organised a one-day workshop aimed at reviewing and updating the Local Government Inspection Tool to ensure that it responds to the current operating environment and emerging service delivery needs.

The meeting chaired by the Ag. Commissioner Public Service Inspection, Fred Ojok Ongom and was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Education and Sports, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Local Government, Office of the President, Ministry of Water and Environment, Ministry of Works and Transport, Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development, Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, and the Office of the Accountant General.

Presentations were received from the Ministry of Education and Sports, Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Public Service, particularly the Department of Systems Management and Efficiency.
