STAY PROFESSIONAL – BITARAKWATE URGES HR PROFESSIONALS.

The Permanent Secretary Ministry of Public Service, Catherine Bitarakwate Musingwiire (Mrs), officiated at the opening of the 4th UPSHRMNet Annual Conference held in Mbale City under the theme “Staying Professional, driving the Government Transformation Agenda”.

She applauded the leadership of the network on the successes during their tenure. She also stated that it is time like this the professionals have a conversation and reflection on a public sector transformation programme, most especially as the government is moving into the implementation of NDP IV 2025 to 2030.
She reminded the participants to reflect on the ethos of Professionalism, basically a set of standards and behaviors expected in the professional setting.

The Permanent Secretary reminded the Officers to prepare for the Africa Public Service Day 2025 activities including the sports gala and corporate social Responsibility activities and exhibitions at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds.
