The Minister of Public Service, Hon. Wilson Muruli Mukasa, today officiated at the opening of a three-day Regional Public Service Pension Fund (PSPF) sensitization workshop for Northern Uganda at Bomah Hotel in Gulu City. The workshop, taking place from 26th to 28th February 2026, brings together key stakeholders to deepen understanding and preparedness ahead of the Fund’s operationalization. Following the Gulu engagement, the next PSPF regional sensitization workshop is scheduled to take place in Mbarara for the Western Region, marking the conclusion preparation for the establishment and rollout of the Public Service Pension Fund in July 2026.
The CSCU has organised the 5th Research Management committee meeting at NRCA. The team was to, present and discuss on various matters including, Report and action plan of the RMC Retreat, finalised benchmarking report, Terms of Reference and Standard Operating Procedures, Draft Memoranda of Understanding for the benchmarked Institutions of ESAMI, SCNU, NARO and MAK and finally the Draftconcept Note for the development of the Socio-Economic Research Agenda. The PS/MOPS chaired the session.
The stakeholder engagement workshop on validating the costed Service Delivery Standards for services offered in Local Governments under works and transport, Public management and accountability, Local Economic Development, and Lands Housing and Urban development has kicked off this morning of 26th June 2023 at Ridar Hotel Mukono
