This effort is in line with gender equity and people with disability Act which takes care of their interest while accessing services in any Public Office . The Senior Management committee of the ministry approved structural designs and expenditure under the guidance of Ministry of Works and Transport as a prerequisite for ensuring that the ministry is gender sensitive and respects of the PWDs Act that provides for the category of persons to easily access services like any other client.
Before this improvement it was approved by the Top Management members as advice was sought from the senior management committee which is a technical arm of the ministry.
