Yumbe district HRO assist pensioners while filling in the required form before validation is done

Out of the 18 pensioners and claimants that had missed out the validation in April 2017 , 12 were validated and the 06 who did not attend were either in Kampala and would be validated there or had family issues to sort out for Administrative letters.

The Minister of Public Service, Hon. Wilson Muruli Mukasa, today officiated at the opening of a three-day Regional Public Service Pension Fund (PSPF) sensitization workshop for Northern Uganda at Bomah Hotel in Gulu City. The workshop, taking place from 26th to 28th February 2026, brings together key stakeholders to deepen understanding and preparedness ahead of the Fund’s operationalization. Following the Gulu engagement, the next PSPF regional sensitization workshop is scheduled to take place in Mbarara for the Western Region, marking the conclusion preparation for the establishment and rollout of the Public Service Pension Fund in July 2026.
