Strengthening Public Service Efficiency Through HCM Training

The Ag. Permanent Secretary, Mr. Irumba Rogers Kaija has officiated at the opening of a three day specialized training on the Human Capital Management System (HCM), organised by the Ministry of Public Service to Internal Auditors and Accountants from Ministries, Departments, Agencies, and Local Governments.

This initiative aims to enhance the capacity of key personnel in managing and auditing HR processes, as well as improving integration with financial systems for efficient service delivery. The training will equip participants with practical skills in HCM functionalities and workflows, supporting the government’s ongoing digital transformation agenda.

The program targets officers in scales U4–U2 and is part of continued efforts to ensure effective utilization of the HCM system across all government institutions.
