The Ministry of Public Service (MoPS) organized a one-day sensitisation and engagement workshop aimed at advancing the establishment and operationalisation of Service Uganda Centres (SUCs) across the country.

The Ministry of Public Service (MoPS) has organized a one-day sensitisation and engagement workshop aimed at advancing the establishment and operationalisation of Service Uganda Centres (SUCs) across the country. This engagement will focus on progress updates, operational guidelines, stakeholder roles and responsibilities, staffing structures, and budgeting requirements, to enhance public service delivery through citizen-centred approaches. It is implemented in line with a Cabinet directive that approved the rollout of 19 zonal Service Uganda Centres in traditional cadastral zones.
According to the Ministry, the reform seeks to improve efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery by bringing government services closer to the people. In collaboration with the National Information Technology Authority-Uganda (NITA-U) and other stakeholders, MoPS is currently establishing four regional centres in Kampala, Mbarara, Gulu, and Tororo during the 2025/2026 financial year.
