The Ministry of Public Service has today convened the quarterly meeting of Heads of the Human Resource Management function in Government Ministries, Departments, Public Universities, and Agencies at the National Records Centre and Archives.

While opening the workshop, the Ag. Permanent Secretary, Mr. Irumba Rogers Kaija observed that the meeting provides an important platform for sharing knowledge and experiences in the implementation of human resource policies, practices, and procedures. He further noted that it offers an opportunity to provide on-the-spot guidance on human resource management challenges faced by different entities.

During the meeting, participants were also consulted on the draft regulations for the Public Service Pension Fund Act, 2025, as well as the ongoing review of the Code of Conduct and Ethics in the Public Service.
